Sonoris Audio Engineering - Sonoris Dither VST (Pc)

Sonoris Dither is a high quality audio plugin for mastering purposes. With this plugin, written for SAWStudio, you can quantize audio to a lower bitdepth with dither and/or noiseshaping. The dithertype is selectable between TPDF and High Pass (HP) TPDF. TPDF is short for Triangular Probability Densitity Function, a form of dither that eliminates non-linear distortion during re-quantization and has no signal modulation artifacts.

The noiseshaping can be set to three flavours: Curve A, B and C or "Off". It is also possible to set noiseshaping without dither.

The output bitdepth can be set to 16 and 20 bit or "Off" for no quantization.

This plugin is written in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0, based on the SAWStudio API. Much effort has been put in maintaining the sound quality. All calculations are performed with 64 bit integer math except for the noiseshaping filters.

The plugin can be used on a In, Out, or Rtn channel at every sample rate or bit depth. The only exception to this is that the plugin doesn't work when patched in a Final Res patch of an output channel with a bit depth of 16 bits.

It is advisable to patch the dither plugin as the last effect in the whole chain, preferable in the post fader patch of output 1. Only a metering plugin may be patched after it. So, all signal processing, should be done before dithering, including gain changes and samplerate conversion!
Specifications:

* supports 2 dither types:
o TPDF (Triangular Probability Densitity Function)
o HighPass TPDF
* 3 noiseshaping curves:
o curve A: 5th order
o curve B,C: 9th order
* dither and noiseshaping independant adjustable.
* dither is generated in assembly language.
* quantization to 20 or 16 bit.
* full automation possible.
* low CPU load.
* settings can be saved.
* 64 bit integer math throughout the signal path, except for the noiseshaping filters.
* Price: $45, payable via share-it!.

The text and picture above is for the Sawstudio version (thanks Pieter Stenekes at Sonoris Audio!), so here is the right picture and text:
