Sytrus is a powerful and versatile synthesizer featuring 6 customizable operators for FM and RM synthesis, plucked strings synthesis, 3 filter & distortion modules, effects module with chorus effects and 3 delay lines & unique programmable unison mode.

Sytrus features 6 complex operators that can act as independant oscillators for subtractive synthesis, or can interact to create more complex and evolving sounds using FM (Frequency Modulation) or RM (Ring Modulation) synthesis. With harmonics editing and waveshaping, virtually any timbre you can imagine can be created.

Equalize your presets through this fully parametric 3-band equalizer, which can be set to process the output bus, the effects bus, or both. New in Sytrus 2: you are now able to customize the filter type for every band (low-shelf, peaking, high-shelf).

The matrix is where you can make the 6 operators interact with eachother, and then route them through filters, effects or main output. This is where the FM or RM 'algorithm' is defined.

Whether you want to program your own patches, or use the many that come included, Sytrus is made for you. Each unit (operators, filters, effects) is assigned its own tab, making it easy to craft your own presets. While programming FM can be an intimidating task at first, FM is only one of the many synthesis options available. And if you don't feel like doing your own presets, the 2D modulation pad will let you give expression to existing ones.

Sytrus now has a unique method of creating arpeggios. Arps are defined by envelope (usually volume, modulation or filter) arpeggiator 'break-points' that can be applied to the envelope nodes.

You can import and analyze any external sample and convert it to a sine harmonics representation to use it as an oscillator shape.

The operators in Sytrus contain a feature rich harmonics editor where you can define the oscillator shape with 128 harmonics.

Sytrus features 3 filter units, each containing a filter & optional waveshaper distortion processor.

New in Sytrus 2: now select from one of 12 filter types - included are a full-featured SVF 'Chocolate' filter and 8 'Vanilla' filters (Low Pass - LP, Band Pass - BP, Notch - NOT, High Pass - HP, All Pass - AP, Low Shelf - LS, Peaking - PK and High Shelf - HS) and a lowpass 'Mango' filter.

The effects module offers high-quality chorus effect, 3 delay lines which can process either in parallel or in serial (with the possibility to send the module output to a mixer send track for further processing) and a reverb section.

The effects module includes a high quality Reverb based on the FL Reverb FX plugin.

Changes:

* A new 'stairs' envelope line mode (can be handy for bit reduction in the waveshaper section).
* Now up to 256 harmonics in the oscillator's harmonics editor (and some new tools on them).
* A new tool to smooth up abrupt changes in envelopes.
* Speed improvements.
* Miscellaneous bug-fixes.

Price: 180 dollar.
