iPhone 5S is twice as fast as iPhone 5

Apple's new iPhone 5S has been benchmarked, and it is twice as fast as the iPhone 5. One of the fastest phones on the market, only the Sony Xperia Z Ultra beats it in some benchmarks.

The Egypt 2.5 HD test shows offscreen 1080p (FHD) results of 56 frames per second for the next iteration of Apple's full-price handset. That is a remarkable rise compared to the 29.8 frames per second scored by the Apple iPhone 5. The onscreen testing revealed a frames per second score of 53 for the Apple iPhone 5S versus 41.1fps scored by the iPhone 5
