A rumor says that the Sony Xperia Z1 will get an Android 4.4 update in November - that would be awesome!

I love my new Sony Xperia Z1 as you can read in my review of it, but one thing that was not so good, was that it comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and not Android 4.3. Sony has promised that their latest devices will be updated to the latest Android versions “As soon as possible”, and now a very vague rumor says that Sony will skip Android 4.3 and release an Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Xperia Z1[1] directly instead. The update should already be available in November says the same vague rumor.

That would be awesome, but will Android[2] Kit Kat even be available in November? Well the Nexus 5 will probably be released with it in November, but will other manufacturers like Sony, already have a version that they can make ready as an update already in November too? That is what I think is strange with this rumor.
