Way too expensive: The Surface Pro 3 gets real as some specs and pricing are revealed

For the Surface Pro 3, which is now confirmed as being a real device, there will be five versions offered with varying pricing and configurations:

• i3-4GB RAM-64GB - $799
• i5-4GB RAM-128GB - $999
• i5-8GB RAM-256GB - $1299
• i7-8GB RAM-256GB - $1549
• i7-8GB RAM-512GB - $1949

Ive said it before and I say it again, Microsoft Surface is a failure. I mean, look at the prices above of the rumored Surface Pro 3! Way too expensive! I buy a 11-inch MacBook Air over that any day! I get a lot more for the money. Better design, better build quality, same portability and way better user experience. And it's a lot cheaper…

And heck! I get 2-3 iPad Airs for the same price as one Surface Pro 3!

Microsoft are losing it. Again.
