A new and much better front facing camera on the iPhone 6s and 6s plus will be great

More and more info and parts from the coming iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s plus leaks out. Now the highly reliable Mark Gurman from the website 9to5Mac reports about a new front facing camera.

First, comparisons of the front glass indicate that the new devices will sport upgraded front-facing FaceTime cameras with bigger sensors. The white phone in our images is a current iPhone 6, while the black plate is an iPhone 6S component. The presence of larger sensors likely indicates a higher megapixel count up from the current 1.2 as well as new functionality…

A better front facing camera is definitely needed and will probably be loved by many. Including me, because I am hoping for a better video recording functionality from the front facing camera too. I use it a lot for my vlogs.

All these leaks makes me sure that the next iPhone will be a much bigger upgrade than a normal “S” upgrade usually is. But of course I still believe it will be named iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s plus.

It will be a monster device that's for sure! Perfect for me because I am planning to use the new iPhone 6s plus as my main computer instead of my iPad Air 2 for a year.
