A bigger iPod touch: Engineered for even more funness? | iMore
Now, we've heard a lot about a bigger iPhone. The rumor has been repeated often enough that many of us take for granted that it's on the way, though Apple hasn't actually said a word one way or the other.
Assuming, for the moment, that the rumors are correct and that a 5.5-inch iPhone 6 is coming this fall, wouldn't it be great to see a 5.5-inch iPod touch, too?
Or maybe all the rumors are wrong and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 actually is a new iPod? Think about it, it actually makes sense to have a normal sized 4.7-inch iPhone 6 as a phone, and a larger 5.5-inch iPod for games, media consuming and actually for some productivity and creativity work too. It would be the perfect device between the iPhone and the iPad. Maybe it's a missing product category that Apple can make to a success? With Apple everything is possible.
