A huge benefit with using an Amazon Kindle is that side loaded epub ebooks syncs with the Kindle app installed on all your devices, phones, tablets & e-Readers. I read mostly, about 80% on other ebook readers than my Kindle that I read around 20% on. Mostly I read on my iPhone with a Nano Texture Matte Display Screen Protector on. It removes all glare and reflections so that the experience gets even better than on real e-ink. The reason why I read mostly on my phone is that it is always with me and always have internet connection. So it is so nice to be able to sync books, reading progress, highlights and notes easily by just using the Kindle app on all my other devices. You can’t do that on Kobo e-Readers because the Kobo app only syncs bought books from Kobo Store. Not sideloaded ebooks. And KOReader only syncs reading progress. Nothing else. This is a huge reason to not jailbreak your Amazon Kindle.
