Renoise is the next generation of music tracker software, combining studio quality sound and virtually infinite expandability with a clear and concise interface putting every parameter and option literally at your fingertips!
While using proven music tracker concepts and technology with a pedigree running back to the days of the Amiga, Renoise supports MIDI and embraces modern and limitless VST/VSTi plugin technologies, therefore achieving power and precision every electronic musician has been dreaming of, all in one affordable piece of software
Through over 5 years of development we listened to our users, implementing their suggestions and considering their complaints. The result; powerful and reliable music software that suits your needs
INTERFACE: Quick, consise and user friendly, offering the information you need, exactly when you need it, fully configurable, allowing you to truly personalise your working environment.
MIDI: Full MIDI and MIDI sync (master/slave modes) support. Will fit right in with your current studio setup.
VST PLUGIN AND VST INSTRUMENTS: Renoise offers full support for VST 2.0 technology, including synths, effects and DSP processors, allowing near infinite expandability.

Renoise provides you with an elaborate interface based on many years of experience with Trackers. Designed to support you to the fullest in the composing process rather than distract and interrupt your flow of creativity. Many new widgets, like scrollable areas, pull down menus, have been introduced, applying Windows style logic to the tracker environment.
Furthermore Renoise supports user definable themes, letting you change the face of Renoise to fit your needs and moods. We took special care with the keyboard shortcuts. Almost every function of Renoise is controllable by keyboard and these shortcuts are all user definable!
Renoise also provides a highly sophisticated mouse driven interface segment. The mouse wheel is fundamental, used for scrolling through the pattern editor, instruments, song positions etc. Combining these two work methods seamlessly makes Renoise the most efficient windows tracker around!
Renoise 1.5.2 OS X has been updated to support both PowerPC and Intel Macintosh computers. If you have an Intel Macintosh, you can expect Renoise to run faster.
There have been no changes besides the optimization for Macintosh hardware.
If you are a registered user, you can get this update right now at Renoise Backstage.
The free demo version will be available in a few days.
