HTC One Google Edition is official! Available 26th June

The head of Android, Sundar Pichai has officially announced the HTC One Google Edition! So the rumors was true then :) It will be available 26th of June and cost $599 directly from Google Play Store.

This is awesome, it's the second high end phone that will be available running pure android in Google Play Store. I think this means that Google will not do the Nexus phones anymore. These phones will be the new Nexus. High end phones from different manufacturers will be available as "Nexus" phones in Google Play Store, and Google will release Moto X phones with Motorola instead. That way Google finally can release high end phones that can directly compete with these new "Nexus" phones from all manufacturers. All running Pure Android :)
