UPDATE: YouTube says it is not abandoning the old logo. "Our main logo is a core part of YouTube and is not going away," a rep says in a statement. "We are increasingly using our play button for apps and icons."
Here we have the new YouTube logo, not officially announced yet but it’s the real deal. I’m not sure I like it just yet, but it signals the huge change that is going on on Youtube at the moment. I really hope they add Google+ comments I suggested yesterday, that Google’s +Vic Gundotra noted.

YouTube hasn’t formally acknowledged a new logo that they have introduced on their Facebook page (76 million likes) and their Twitter page (32 million followers) but not on their main website. I rarely post a logo change without official confirmation but I am thinking that this is a full-on change in the makingVia Under consideration
