I'm quite disappointed in google's Chromecast. We bought one for my work because we thought it could be useful to connect to the projectors in all our meeting rooms, so that we didn't have to use computers, and only using our mobile devices instead.
Everything work perfectly fine with the setup and all, and we tested by casting a YouTube video, and it worked great. But when we starting to try using it for what it was bought for, casting PowerPoint presentations, then the problems started…. There simply is no support for that… So disappointing. We tried opening the presentations in Microsoft Office for mobile, iWork on iOS, and even Google Drive. Nothing worked! So disappointed…
It works flawlessly with Apple TV though….
