2015 will be the year of the iPad. Here is why

2014 was the year of the iPhone where Apple did some big changes to the iPhone(s). They didn't only release two iPhones in different sizes, they also did some really drastic design changes to them. And they got incredible specs and performance too.

So in 2015 I don't think they will give the iPhone so much changes. I think 2015 will be the year of the iPad. The rumored iPad pro will be a reality and will blend the 11-inch MacBook Air with the iPad Air with an innovative detachable keyboard with a magic touchpad. It will run desktop-like apps, and will come with Apple's own apps like final cut pro x, logic pro and the new photos app that will replace iPhoto and aperture.

I think Apple is preparing for new devices with the A8 chip with 4K video support

The developers of the Mac app Waltr has discovered that the A8 and A8X chip that the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 plus and the iPad Air 2 has, can play 4K video. I wonder why Apple keeps that a secret? I think they are preparing for new kinds of devices. And probably also a new Apple TV with the A8 chip that can play 4K video. The iPhone 6 is an incredible device capable of wonderful feats, like shooting 4K video as long as you have the right app. Sadly you can't watch 4K video on the iPhone 6, right? It turns out that's not actually the case. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus can play 4K video right out of the box thanks to its A8 chip.
