----------
FX Engine:
----------

Fully stereo, can convert to mono on the fly (toggable).
32-bit precision at 44Khz+.

FX Lord's main GUI consists of 19 modules each with their own individual functionality. These modules can be enabled on/off to suit user taste/need/CPU restraint. Some modules also have wet/dry sliders to adjust their sound affection versus original sound in.

Many modules contain functions which can affect either the left or right stereo channel individually, through left and right sliders. These sliders can be linked by using the center toggle between the two. When toggled this causes the right slider's control output to match that of the left slider as well, internally though not visually.

FX Lord modules and their functionality (from left to right / top to bottom):

========
MONOIZE:
========

-----------
Description
-----------

When toggled converts FX Lord's audio output from stereo to mono.

Warps audio pitch and time in a "stretchy" and "warbly" manner.
Almost like vinyl scratching.

--------
Controls
--------

PYSCHLE - Controls the speed of the Pyschomodulation effect's repeat ratio.

MOD-TYPE - Controls the volume envelope type of the Pyschomodulation modulation against source material.

=========
GLITCHER:
=========

-----------
Description
-----------

Interrupts incoming audio in a malfunctioning manner.

--------
Controls
--------

FEEDBACK - Controls the size of interruption.

FREQUENCY - Controls the intensity of interruption.

CYCLES - Controls the probability of interruption.

========
FLANGER:
========

-----------
Description
-----------

Classic effect which causes audio to "swoosh" in a crescent manner.

--------
Controls
--------

OFFSET - The pitch offset of flanger's internal oscillator.

FEEDBACK - The intensity of the flanger's "swooshness".

FLOW - The volume envelope of the flanger's "swooshness".

=======
PHASER:
=======

-----------
Description
-----------

Causes incoming audio's phase alignment to shift in pleasant ways.

--------
Controls
--------

F-MIN - Minimum amount of phaser feedback present.

F-MAX - Maximum amount of phaser feedback present.

FDBK - Intensity of phaser feedback present.

RATE - The cycle speed of the phaser offset.

STEREO PHASE DIFFERENCE (center vertical slider) - Manual offsetting of the phase alignment root.

STAGES - Sets the amount of breakpoints in the phaser volume envelope (less stages = harsher/stronger phase effect, more stages = smoother/subtler phase effect).

==========
SATURATER:
==========

-----------
Description
-----------

Causes audio distortion by overlapping incoming audio with corrupted clone of itself.

--------
Controls
--------

SATURATION - The amount of overlapping present.

OVERDRIVE - Simple volume increase beyond normal threshold.

===========
BITCRUSHER:
===========

-----------
Description
-----------

Deteriorates audio by reducing fidelity.

--------
Controls
--------

SAMPLE - Amount of sample reduction, (harshness).

BIT-DEPTH - Amount of bit reduction, (corrosion).

===========
WAVESHAPER:
===========

-----------
Description
-----------

Audio distortion via waveform manipulation.

--------
Controls
--------

Simply drag and drop breakpoints present in waveform representation. Higher vector offsetting = high pass distortion, lower vector offsetting = low pass distortion.

=======
BYPASS:
=======

-----------
Description
-----------

Used to control the overall amount of affected FX Lord signal versus original source material signal.

============
COMB FILTER:
============

-----------
Description
-----------

Creates extremely tiny reverberations/echos of source material through filtered resonance.

--------
Controls
--------

FEEDBACK - Amount of reverberation.

MODULATION - Timing offset of reverberations.

SIGBLEED - Amount of reverberation allowed to loop back into itself.

======
DELAY:
======

-----------
Description
-----------

Creates echos of original source material.

--------
Controls
--------

REVERSE (toggle next to ON/OFF toggle) - Causes delayed audio to reverse in realtime.

D-TIME - Frequency of the delay occurrences, time between them.

FEEDBACK - Intensity/volume of delay occurrences.

D-TYPE - Controls the panning offsets of delays.

=======
REVERB:
=======

-----------
Description
-----------

Creates "cavern sounds" for incoming audio.

--------
Controls
--------

SIZE - Size of reverb chamber.

WIDTH - Width of reverb chamber.

MIX - Overall wet/dry ratio of reverb.

DAMP - Allows softening of reverb effect.

GATING - Changes the way that the reverb effect is triggered. NORMAL allows typical MIDI triggering by host. FREEZE allows continuous untriggered reverb. EXTERNAL allows the MODTRIX to control the reverb triggering.

=======
PANNER:
=======

-----------
Description
-----------

Controls FX Lord's audio output in the stereo field offset.

--------

CLIPPING:
=========

-----------
Description
-----------

Controls global attenuation / hard limiting of FX Lord's audio throughput.

=======
Modtrix
=======

Modtrix is an abbreviation for "Modulation Matrix".

The modulation matrix allows modulations of chosen parameters for FX modules. Each individual module is affected differently per predefined control routing via modulation input. User defines modulation type, settings, and allowance.

To use the Modtrix it must first be turned ON, and then switched to. These controls are located at the upper right hand corner of FX Lord's main GUI.

-----------------
Modtrix Controls:
-----------------

---------
LFO 1 & 2
---------

"Low Frequency Oscillators."

CYCLE - Rate of oscillation.

SMOOTHING - Volume envelope attenuation.

WAVEFORM - Waveform type of oscillator.

-----------
CLOCK 1 & 2
-----------

"Signal change via timed intervals, outputs control voltage internally to predefined parameters using user defined offsets."

FRQ - Frequency of control voltage output.

CYC - Timing of control voltage output.

RES - Probablity of control voltage reset (back to 0).

IMP - Amount of pure timed impulse allowance (full 10 periodically).

RND - Mix signals between clock output and random control voltage output.

------------------------
Modtrix Matrix Controls:
------------------------

Each potentially affectable FX module is represented on the matrix along the X plane, see labels as such. LEDs above FX module labels light up if their respective FX module is turned on.

Each modulation output is labeled along the Y axis. Parameters are allowable from 000-100 per FX module versus modulation type. The more a parameter is allowed the more modulation of the type chosen is introduced to the aligned parameter of the respective FX module per column.
