New Update brings Intel Mac compatibility
With the new REAKTOR 5.1.2 Update the modular sound studio is now compatible with Intel-Macs! For PC and PowerPC users the 5.1.2 Update is available as a free download. For Intel Mac users, the following applies: If REAKTOR 5 was activated AFTER September 12th, 2006 - or if you own KOMPLETE 4 - you are eligible for the free download. If you activated REAKTOR 5 for the first time BEFORE the 12th of September 2006, you can download the Universal Binary update for $29 / €25 in the NI Online Shop.

Important Information for Intel-Mac users:
1) Whether the Universal Binary Update is free for you or not, depends on the date you registered your product for the first time.
(Exception: The update is free for KOMPLETE 4 users)

Please purchase the REAKTOR 5 Universal Binary Update in the NI Online Shop.
You will receive a new serial number for activation on your Intel Mac.
If you activated REAKTOR 5 for the first time after September 12th, 2006:
You can download the update for free in our Update Manager....

2) HOW TO INSTALL ON INTEL-MACs:
* A) Install REAKTOR 5 from your original CD/DVD to your Intel Mac - this ensures that the instruments/ensembles are installed.
* B) Install the Universal Binary Update
* C) Activate the product using the included "NI Service Center" Application - DO NOT use the "Registration Tool"! If you purchased the Universal Binary Update (incl. a new serial number) online, enter the new serial number in the NI Service Center when promted.
* Activation Information for KOMPLETE 4 users: If REAKTOR 5 doesn't appear in the NI Service Center as a seperate entry, open the KOMPLETE 4 item by clicking the "+" symbol, and then select REAKTOR 5 for activation.
PC & Mac Updates Require Activation
* With this update, Native Instruments introduces a new and much more convenient activation and update manager system - replacing the old "Registration Tool"
* Whether you install the PC or Mac version, the software will run in the new "Demo Mode" after installation.
* Simply launch the new "NI Service Center" Application which came with the update installer, and follow the instructions to quickly and easily re-activate your product.
* After you complete this new activation for the first time, all following free updates won't need a new activation.
