I've got another cool press-release from the remiix guys that creates those cool remixing apps for iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod). Now you can remix Dubfire's music on your iOS device too! See press-release below:
REMIIX03 iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch
House and techno fans as well as anyone with a passing interest in electronic music can from today remix Dubfire’s music on their iPhone and iPad. The international DJ’s new Remiix app (available now on iTunes) allows anyone with an iPhone or iPad to easily control, remix, and interact with six of his enduring tracks.
The $2.99 / £1.79 / 2.39€ app comes with the actual studio parts and loops that make up Dubfire’s solo productions (Emissions, Rabid and Rejekt), as well as his collaborations with German producer Oliver Huntemann (Diablo, Dios and Fuego)
Using the Remiix Dubfire app is simple: just touch a sound to mix it perfectly in sync with another (different reels within the app contain loops and sounds from different songs). Grab the beats of Dios, take things deep with the hypnotic synths of Fuego, add the soaring FX of Diablo, drop into the bleeptastic groove of Emissions, and already you have created your own Dubfire remix on the fly.
Play around with the app’s professional grade audio effects – EQ, Reverb, and Delay – to add more flavour to the mix, or to completely manipulate and transform the material into something that is uniquely your own.
Free future updates will add additional material to the app, including brand new unreleased music from Dubfire.
Tracks included on the app: Dubfire ‘Emissions’ [Minus] Dubfire ‘Rabid’ [SCI+TEC Digital Audio] Dubfire ‘Rejekt’ [Cocoon Recordings] Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann ‘Diablo’ [Cocoon Recordings] Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann ‘Fuego’ [Ideal Audio] Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann ‘Dios’ [Ideal Audio]
Other apps in the Remiix series include Remiix Plastikman Replikants and Remiix Joris Voorn.
The bottom line. Remiix is about quality. Not generic loops, not sample library content, but real parts from real recordings by the world’s best artists. Perform with the exact same material used by the artists themselves!
