Viwoods has recently launched their latest e-ink device, the AI Paper Reader. It’s a small portable e-reader with 4g connection that also has the possibility to make calls if you connect bluetooth headphones to it. This brand new e-reader is really a device I would like to try out. It looks awesome. Even if I don’t want to use it as a phone I would definitely want to use it as my main portable e-Reader. The version that is already released is a black and white e-ink e-Reader with no stylus support. Viwoods will also release a AIPaper Reader C - a color version that uses Kaleido 3 e-ink probably. It will be interesting to see if that version will come with stylus support or not.
In this video I pretend that my Onyx Boox Palma is the AIPaper Reader and compares it to the AIPaper mini and the Bigme Hibreak.
