1. Ableton at Winter NAMM 2006—Live 5.2 News, Awards, and Ableton Artists

Ableton kicked off Winter NAMM with exciting news: the imminent release
of Live 5.2, offering native support for Apple’s new Mac-Intel
processors. Live 5.2 will be among the first audio applications
available for Apple’s new machines. Dual core processor support was also
confirmed for Live 6, due in Q3 of 2006.

More great news from NAMM: Ableton Live received repeat awards for Best
Digital Audio Sequencer of 2006 from Electronic Musician magazine and
Best Performance Software of 2006 from Remix magazine.
