VSTunnel v1.5 (Pc/Mac)

vst tunnel
Announcing The New Revolutionary VSTunnel Plug-in.

The new revolutionary VSTunnel Plug-in is now available. Start connecting several sequencers over the internet bringing musicians from all over the world to easily play their sessions together. No travelling. No studio bookings. All participants have the opportunity to create or join public and private sessions.

If you just want inspiration from other musicians or join other virtual bands, the VSTunnel public sessions allow all that to be possible and more. Just have fun playing and experimenting with other musicians.

For those serious musicians out there who want their own selected members or want to bring their own band together, the VSTunnel private sessions are for you. In a private session no one can enter without knowing the session key (e.g. members of a band can meet in a closed session). You as the creator have the power to choose your session members.

All in all it is certainly a new and revolutionary way of making live music without having to leave your studio. And dont forget you can always switch to another session and check out what else is going on.

The VSTunnel Plug-in is not only easy to use but versatile. It is independent from your sequencer and operating system. Any combination can be connected to a session.

The VSTunnel Plug-In is used like an insert effect in the sequencer's master out channel. When started, a wizard starts, which allows the user to start a session or to join another session. When users create their own session, they decide whether to make it public or private. When private, the creator can use their own method of distributing their session key, for example, email distribution. Whatever suits a user best. And of course, public sessions are for anybody and everybody. A list of all public sessions is offered to the user. It can be sorted by genre, speeding up the search for music of taste. By clicking on a session, it can be pre-listened. By a further click, a session can be joined.

During a session the music played is analyzed by the VSTunnel Plug-in. Local changes are recognized, compressed and transmitted to the other session participants. In this instance the audio is mixed and sampled accurately into the audio out. So everbody hears a mix of their own work and the work of others. This mix can be adjusted by each participant. The volume of each "remote line" can be set (ie. muted, etc).

Communication amongst users is done by the VSTunnel chat. However if you feel you are being disturbed by another user, you also have the option to disable their chat, blocking their sound and text messages.

Additionally, the audio quality can be set per participant. Download of remote audio and upload of their audio can be paused. Thus you can, for example, repeat a recording until you are satisfied with the result before transmitting it to the other participants.

Currently all sequencers supporting Microsoft WindowsTM and Macintosh OSXTM, which offer a VST interface, are supported.

You can download the VSTunnel Plug-in for free. In the free version, all saving functions are disabled, the maximum song length is limited to 1 minute and the download quality cannot be adjusted. If you get your registration code for 69.00€ all features are available. Enjoy using VSTunnel Plug-in.

What's new in this version:

Auto Time-stretching
If session members work with different BPM settings, the plug-in automatically time-stretches the transmitted audio. Now the experience of making music in a group, especially for Newbies, is more care-free and less-technical.

Direct File Transfer
Session members can exchange any kind of file via the plugin. Other file transfer programs , ie. email, FTP, etc. are no longer required. VSTunnel can do it all for you.

Automatic Jam Mode
Jam mode is automatically switched on when the sequencer is not playing in a cycle as if the sequencer is already running in a cycle. The advantage?
Easier handling and control of jamming. This is great feature for Newbies. In addition, it allows the use of stand-alone soft synth (ie. Bidule, etc).
