PSP Neon is a fully featured linear phase equalizer that offers eight bands of equalization, each of which can be assigned one of seven filter types. PSP Neon uses frequency-domain fast convolution based linear phase algorithms for the best balance between CPU efficiency and phase accuracy. For those who want to use the excellent analog-modeled PSP Neon filters in even more CPU critical applications, you can even toggle off the linear phase mode and take advantage of PSP Neon's minimum phase error Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) mode!
PSP Neon also features one of our most user friendly interfaces ever, offering unparalleled easy of workflow. Once you experience for yourself the pristine, transparent response and intuitive design of this plug-in, we believe it will become your "go to" linear phase equalizer for mastering and other critical audio applications.

PSP Neon is available in two versions: PSP Neon and PSP Neon HR (high resolution).
PSP Neon HR offers a number of features over the standard PSP Neon:

* Operation at high sample rates (up to 192kHz)
* PSP Audioware's proprietary FAT mode
* Independent processing and control of each stereo channel
* Stereo and Mid-Side operation
* High and Max resolution modes for unparalleled fidelity in the most demanding applications

Minimum system requirements:

* Windows XP Intel Celeron 1GHz or faster processor
* 256MB RAM or more
* DX, RTAS, or VST compatible audio application
* High Color S-VGA, 1024x768
* iLok (for PSP Neon HR only)
* PACE InterLok Windows extenstions 5.3.3 or later (PSP Neon HR only)

* Mac OS X 10.3.8 or newer
* PowerPC G4/G5 processor (please test demo version to be sure that your processor is fast enough
* 512MB RAM or more
* AU, RTAS, or VST compatible audio application
* iLok (for PSP Neon HR only)
* PACE InterLok Mac OSX extenstions 5.3.3 or later (PSP Neon HR only)

Changes:

* Plug-in is capable of reporting proper latency value when working in linear phase mode as well.
* New fixed latency mode added for easier settings comparison (latency does not depend on the number of eq bands active).
* Latency readout in both samples and milliseconds.
* Peak meters with overs indicators added (useful for people working in fixed point environment such as ProTools TDM who need to be sure there's no clipping within their signal path).
* More strict thread synchronization model implemented for reducing glitches while changing filter parameters.
* Problems with demo expiring too early fixed.
* Output knob default value is restored properly.
* To protect from loosing the eq settings accidentally the row of filter knobs can only be initialized (by clicking on the left label area) when ctrl (PC) or apple (MAC) key is held.
* Frequency is displayed correctly for lowcut 12dB/oct filter.
* RTAS version benefits from variable plug-in buffer size (introduced in ProTools 7.0) for significantly decreased CPU load. If you experienced huge CPU usage while working with Neon RTAS try to increase your buffer.
