he LP10 is a 10 band linear phase equalizer (Low-Shelf/High-Shelf with adjustable Q plus 8 fully parametric bands) designed especially for mixdown/mastering purposes, where a high degree of control over the process of sonic shaping is desirable. Due to its native linear phase DSP code, frequencies can be amplified or damped by 24 dB without changing the "character" of the sound by unwanted phase distortions. Crystal clear highs, punching mids and solid lows are readily available; annoying mid-frequency resonances can easily be removed by zooming into the problematic region with extremely narrow Q bands. Finally, this equalizer will give your music the sound it deserves.
New in version 1.2: Three different linear phase filters to choose from! Type 1 is a Lorentz curve, Type II a Bell curve and Type III a "logistic distribution" (probably a first in EQ filter design :-)). Simply click "Type ", "Type II" or "Type III" on the GUI to subtly change the sound of the LP10.
