Forever For Now - Reverse Sampler v1.0(Mac/Universal/Free)

From the homepage:
I got a Macbook back in June, 2006 and I soon discovered that Mac OS X Audio Units are the perfect way to quickly write and integrate sound effects in a variety of host applications. Because I wasn't happy with the lack of reverse delays or samplers in the form of an Audio Unit I set out to create it myself.

With my background of coding and assembly knowledge I thought this task would be easy. It was, kind of. The Objective-C language was new to me but I already knew C and C++ so the language basics weren't that hard to grasp. Even though it looked familiar, there were some bugs in early versions of my audio unit that created some white noise instead of reverse audio.

As of now, all versions available for download on my site are thoroughly tested in both studio and live setups so you can use them without worrying about your equipment or sound.
Reverse Sampler Audio Unit features

In a nutshell, the audio unit provides the following:

* Gapless semi-realtime reverse playback
* Automatic crossfading to reduce pops and clicks
* Sample (delay) time user configurable from 0.1 to 10 seconds
* Works seamlessly at 48 kHz
* Industry standard Cocoa user interface and compliance
* Freeware

The Audio Unit is available as a Universal Binary for Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and up.
