Some info about a new flagship phone from Sony codenamed ”Honami” has leaked out. And I must say that it sounds very, very interesting!
It will probably be the first phone from the new ”One Sony” strategy.
This One Sony flagship phone will have a Snapdragon 800 chipset at 2.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM memory, 5-inch Full 1080p HD display, with either a JDI panel with ”WhiteMagic” tech, or a Sharp IGZO panel. The battery will be between 2700-3000 mAh. Of course it will be water and dust resistant. All high-end Sony phones seems to be that. Great phone for music too, it will use Walkman Audio.
But the most interesting with this phone is the Cyber-shot camera module, which will be around 20 megapxiel and using the pixel-binning technology that the Nokia PureView uses, and of course a Xenon/ Dual LED Plasma flash.
Sony will probably announce it in late summer or early autumn, and that will be the perfect time for me to buy a new phone :)
Too bad it’s just a 5-inch phone though. I have said that I want a phablet next time.
