A system dump of Sony's coming flagship phone codenamed "Honami" has leaked out. It's from a Canadian carrier device with model number C6906.
And as I've said many times already, this super camera phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 20 megapixel (5248 x 3936) camera that also can record 4K (3840 x 2160) video!!
I told you so! I've said in some video that we will see 4K video on mobile phones already this year.
The camera also support ISO up to 12800, a Steadyshot mode and a new Timeshift burst feature, that means that you can go back and forth in time to find the best moment.
Sony has also created a camera API so that developers can release “Xperia camera add-ons”.
In this system dump we can also see a new Augmented Reality app with some different modes. We can also see a new app called Info-eye, that is some kind of visual search app.
And Music Unlimited is of course integrated into the Walkman app now.
The Sony i1 Honami will also have a new UI with a new launcher, app tray, and a bunch of new new apps. Also some kind of support for Small Apps that makes it possible to have multiple apps on the same screen at once. That is something that would be very useful on the new Xperia Z Ultra with it's huge screen. Hopefully it will get that UI too.
