Google presents a new product called Google Web Designer, and it’s available now to download as a free beta. With the Web Designer you can build HTML5 content for the web. It’s a new professional-quality design tool that makes HTML5 creation available for everyone.
Two animation modes
In Quick mode, you can build your animations scene by scene and Web Designer take care of the frames in between. In Advanced mode, you can animate individual elements using layers, and easily change the location of elements within the stack.
Full 3D authoring environment
Create and manipulate 3D content with quite a few tools, and with the help of CSS3. You can rotate objects and even 2D designs along any axis.
Design view and code view
You can switch between Design View and Code View, so you can easily see any changes made to code reflect back into your design.
You can import content from any other design app or reactive suite, or use the built-in illustration tools to create vector-style artwork yourself, directly in the Web Designer.
Easy ad workflow
Google Web Designer also makes it easy to publish ads through any platform. You can choose from DoubleClick Studio or AdMob, or use a Generic option to push content through any other ad network. No coding required.
This is another proof that Google wants to make it easy for users to create better content for the web, they are creating a better web together with the people. Usually for free.
And I also thinks that is one step further to replace native apps with HTML5 web apps, Chrome apps. Packaged apps is the future on both Desktop and Mobile. At least that is what I believe.
