I was very impressed by Sony's press conference at IFA 2013, where they presented the Sony Xperia Z1, the new Q10 and QT100 Smart lenses, and the Smartwatch 2.
The Sony Xperia Z1 was so impressive that I have decided now, I will buy it, no question about it. The design is good, the specs is great, and the UI is very good. There is nothing to complain about really. To me its perfect.
The camera is as good as the Q10 smart lens, same sized camera sensor, so if I will buy a Smartlens too, then it will be the QT100.
It will be available here in Sweden October 1 and cost 6400 SEK. I will buy a white one.
Here is my vlog where I talk about the Sony IFA 2013 press conference:

I think the Smart lenses is a very innovative innovation by Sony, the smaller Q10, and the larger Q100 is a brilliant idea. And that they work with any Android phone and iPhone, makes it even better. Only that proofs how much better company Sony is than Samsung.. I mean the Samsung Gear on works with the latest Galaxy devices as an example..
The Smart lenses will be perfect for me as a vlogger, especially the possibility to hold in the lens and having the phone as a extern screen will be very useful for me. The Q10 is almost the same as the camera sensor in Xperia Z1, so I probably have to buy the QX100 if I buy one.
They will be available later this month, and the Q10 will cost 2000 SEK, and the Q100 4000 SEK.

I think the Sony Smartwatch 2 is the only device Sony presented that I don't want to have, and that is not because it's worse than the Samsung Gear, actually I think it's much better, and looks much better than the Gear, but I can not see any use of a Smartwatch, that's why. It can't help me be more productive. SO I won't buy that, and I also thinks that the smart watches is too expensive.
