Now you can Jailbreak iOS 7 on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update: There is some information about the fact that the evad3rs team has received a large sum of money to by default install a Chinese Pirate App Store onto the device if Chinese is selected as the main language.

Now you can jailbreak iOS 7. Team Evad3rs have released tools for jailbreaking an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad that runs on iOS 7.0 or above. Evasi0n 7 is available for Windows, OS X and Linux, and the jailbreaking only takes a few minutes.

Would you jailbreak your iOS device just to be able to do stuff that Apple won’t allow you to do otherwise? Well if I could for example add the same sharing features as Android has, or be able to choose a default app for for example keyboard, email or web browser, yes I would, because that is features that iOS sorely lacks.

But you loose features like iCloud[1] syncing, Photo Stream and more by doing so, at least that is what I remember you did before by jailbreaking. Maybe these new jailbreak tools are better though.

  1. iCloud is a cloud storage and cloud computing service from Apple Inc. announced on June 6, 2011, at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference ( WWDC). It stores your music, photos, apps, calendars, documents, and more. And wirelessly pushes them to all your devices.  ↩
