Will Samsung add more gesture controls to the Galaxy S5?

Of course they will… Samsung adds a lot of new gimmicky features to the S series for every new release… Soon they have hidden the real Android completely, just as Amazon did with it on the Kindle. Samsung are making their own “OS”, and I hate it. Fortunately we have a choice to not buy their devices.

The patent covers a way to use head movements to control a device. The front-facing camera would monitor the user’s head and watch for certain movements or gestures like a wink or a nod. The patent was published on Thursday, but dates back to July 2013.

With the new patent, a certain head movement will allow you turn a page on the screen. And any action that is set off by a head movement would require a nod to confirm.

Sounds totally ridiculous to me…
