Do we really need a 50 megapixel camera as the new report says that the Oppo Find 7 smartphone will have?

Seriously, do we really need a 50 megapixel mobile camera? Seriously? If this is true and the Oppo Find 7 really has a 50-megapixel camera, I really hope it works more like the one HTC has in the HTC One and not the monstrosity Nokia has in the Lumia phone…
