More leaked iPhone 6 parts shows how much more tapered, curved the design will be on the iPhone 6. I'm sure it's because it should be as easy as possible to hold and handle with one hand. Apple always think of the user first hand. They always makes the best user experience possible. Same thing with the new power button. It's now moved to the side of the one for easier handling with one hand. I like it a lot.
