That's interesting. With iOS 8, both the iPhone 4s and iPad 2 got slower, and to me that is only natural on such old hardware. I mean, they at least get updates OTA the same day they are released, in comparison to Android devices…
Now Apple has seeded a first beta of iOS 8.1.1, that will fix speed and lag on these old devices too.
That's what I call customer care.
A new ‘iOS 8.1.1’ update has been seeded with developers ahead of an imminent launch and its release notes state it will bring “increased stability and performance improvements for iPad 2 and iPhone 4s.”
