The iPhone 6 has always had excellent battery life but with iOS 8.1.1 it got even better. I have never had a phone with such great battery life. I can easily get 6-7 hours of usage time with heavy usage like video editing, audio recording and advanced blogging for example. I'm very, very impressed. It beats both my LG G2 and Sony Xperia Z1 easily.
I can highly recommend everyone to install iOS 8.1.1. Fewer bugs and better battery life.
