A larger 12-inch iPad Pro / iPad Plus can't run the same iOS version as the normal iPad
If Apple will release a larger 12-inch iPad, iPad Pro / iPad Plus, then it has to have its own version of iOS. Because they can't just use the same as the iPad has now, with the same UI and all. The display is simply to large for that. It needs to have a total redesigned iOS version to have the great user experience that Apple is famous for, customized for the larger device. And it also needs some dedicated features that makes it easier to use such a large device. If they do this, then they will have one iOS version for the iPhone, one version for the Apple Watch (called watch OS), and one version for the iPad (maybe called iPad OS).
