Cool, yesterday during the Samsung Unpacked event where they presented the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+, I got the Android Oreo and Samsung Experience 9 update for my Samsung Galaxy S8+.
Can't find any spectacular with the update though. Feels a bit faster and better battery life. But maybe that is just my imagination though? It's more proof though that running the latest Android version is not necessary on Samsung phones. They already have all the features you need and are free from bugs. You can easily have the Android version the phone comes with during the phones whole life. No problem at all.
And about the new Samsung Galaxy S9, I can't see anything that would make it worth upgrading from an Samsung Galaxy S8+.
I'll wait for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 instead.
