With the iOS 16 update (and also iOS 16.0.2), Text To Speech are broken in Apple Books (iBooks) on iPhone. It still works great on the iPad because it still is on iPadOS 15, or on an iPhone that still are on iOS 15. That is so bad. How come no one didn’t see this bug when beta testing iOS 16 for so many months before it was released? The Voice Over feature with Speak Screen is awesome to use in Apple Books with Apple’s Neural Engine Voices that learns the more you use them, so that they get even more natural sounding. Reading and listening at the same time makes it easer to read more books, because you can read them faster than without, and the comprehension is better and also less procrastinating.
