Review: Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition 2022 vs Kobo Clara 2e

I recently bought a Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition 2021/2022. It’s my first Kindle eBook Reader ever, and I can after a couple of weeks of usage, say that it beats both my Kobo e-Readers, the Kobo Clara 2e and the Kobo Libra H2O. The user experience is so much better, the build quality, the feel of it is also so much better. And the easiness of use together with the Kindle app for iPhone and iPad with seamless syncing of everything is awesome.

You can say that Kindle eReaders is like Apple devices with excellent user experience, and Kobo e-Readers is like Android that you have to tinker with and manually do stuff. You can hack Kobo devices because they are more open and much more. Personally I prefer the Apple feel of things, and that’s why the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is my preferred eBook Reader now.

Stefan, My best ebook reading experience is with FB reader - https://fbreader.org/ - I use it to read ebooks on my ipad with book and page syncing to Galaxy S21 so I can continue reading same book seamlessly. I also like being able to use my own installed fonts (Perpeptua, Berling, Baskerville, etc.) Cheers Greg in Alingsås.
PS I use Calibre to convert mobi format to epub. I use Kindle when there's no other option than Amazon purches. I Use Libby and Bluefire for borrowing ebooks.

Cool. I used that app a while ago when I used android phones. I prefer reading on real e-Readers that can sync to my other devices when out and about. That’s why I love my Kindle. PS. If you buy a book in Amazon store you can easily remove DRM in Calibre and read the book on any device or app you want
