In this tutorial I show how to make your own News server by letting the Reeder app for Mac fetch all the news for you, so that they are ready to be read on your iPhone and iPad. By doing so, Reeder on iOS doesn’t use so much battery life. I also show how to create your own RSS feeds from Reddit and I also mention how you can add Google News searches as News Sources. Everything is collected by the Reeder 5 version on Mac and stored for ever in iCloud so that they are immediately available on your iPhone and iPad. Works great. You need to have the Mac always on though.
