Text-To-Speech (TTS) makes it possible to listen along while reading at the same time. Apple has built-in Neural Voices in iOS and iPadOS that is totally free to use on an iPad or iPhone. The feature is called Speak Screen and works flawlessly in both the Amazon Kindle app and Apple Books. And the voices is as natural speaking as in the very expensive service / app called Speechify. So you really don’t need to pay hundreds of dollars to have excellent neural voices read the text up aloud for you while at the same time you can read along. It is all free and already built-in.
