The European Union is forcing Apple to allow sideloading apps from anywhere on the web or other App Stores. This will mean that app developers will lose the control of selling apps in the App Store because they will freely be available on the web for anyone to download and sidload into an iPhone or iPad. This will mean that the secure way of the App Store here in Europe will be gone. Users will get viruses, malware and a lot worse stuff by sideloading apps from shady places on the web, only because they are free. The piracy market will grow a lot, that’s for sure.
