In this tutorial I show how to create voice audio files from text files (epubs, articles, documents, txt, pdf’s and more), using text-to-speech in the app Voice Central. Voice Central is an iOS app (iPhone, iPad) that can read aloud eBooks, documents and articles for you with Apple’s excellent Premium TTS voices.
After the Text is converted into an Audio file you get the option to choose where to store the file. My recommendation is to store it to your Downloads folder on iCloud Drive so that you can get to the file from all your Apple devices. Your Mac, iPhone and iPad. Then you can easily listen to the file or edit the file in a video editing app to make a YouTube video of the voice audio file for example.
